So... moving on (for now). Last night I was watching this film about Chernobyl and I remembered that I wanted to read the book by Svetlana Aleksiévich
After reading War’s Unwomanly Face two years ago (I think) I wanted to read the other ones so bad.
So yeah. That might be my next read. Svetlana made me feel like I was there, witnessing what was going on in war and I think Voices from Chernobyl will do the same. These topics are so... idk how to describe them but I feel like I need to read them. Need. Not want. They’re very hard to read sometimes, especially how Aleksiévich put them, but for me it’s just necessary.
Took this photo from my archive because I forgot it was there. Hello sister! It’s been a while 😉 .
What are you reading this weekend?
Happy Saturday pretty people! ...
