Nowadays everybody wanna talk like they got something to say
But nothing comes out when they move their lips
Just a bunch of gibberish
And motherfuckers act like they forgot about Dre🤨

Another week, another batch of some great releases across a variety of artists. We got your rap, we got your indie, we got your folk, we got your punk, we got it all here. Check out this list of some of my favorite releases from this week ▶️
#Patience // #TameImpala
My favorite artist dropping a banger of a first single. This psych-influenced indie jam is key-driven piece of art, I’ve been bumping it on repeat since it dropped. My only trivial complaint is it doesn’t have the most memorable vocals, but the tune behind the song is too good for me to care. Pumped to see what else Tame comes out with in the near future.
#Talk // #TwoDoorCinemaClub
TDCC has always shown signs of funk in their tunes, but this ups it to a new height.
#Fantasy // #SofiTukker
The Brazilian dance duo dropped a tune that is simultaneously mellow and a banger
#FatherMountain // #Calexico & #IronAndWine
These stalwarts of folk music are pairing up for a collaborative project that is off to a great start with this track
#ConfessionsOfADangerousMind // #Logic
Solid flow, solid lyrics, solid track
#Tempo // #Lizzo & #MissyElliott
High-energy fun rap track of these ladies embracing their thiccness -
#OnTheLine // #JennyLewis
Neat indie folk project, definitely a nice listen
Fav tracks: Red Bull & Hennessy, Dogwood, Little White Dove
#Panorama // #LaDispute
The post-hardcore outfit are known for their introspective, spoken-word songs, and this record is a continuation of that. Their lyrics paint vivid pictures in the mind; makes for a cathartic listen.
Fav tracks: Fulton Street I & II, Footsteps At The Pond
What did you think of these tracks? What did I miss this week? Let me know 💯🔥💨💨😈
J Cole Discography Ranking
Everyone seems to like and dislike different Cole albums with some loving his work, some hating his work, and many finding it to be a model of inconsistency. Due to the unpredictable perception of his career we thought it would interesting to throw together this list. FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW HOW THIS WORKS... Meta members each make individual lists ranking Cole's albums from best to worst and then points are awarded based on what rank albums are given. Since we looked at 8 projects an album that gets a 1st place vote gets 8 points, 2nd place gets 7 points, 3rd gets 6, etc... with the 8th place album only receiving 1 point. Then we just total the points every album earned and get the Meta comprehensive ranking down below👇👇👇
Format = Rank. Album - Points (highest rank, lowest rank) [1st place votes]
1. 2014 Forest Hills Drive (2014) - 82 Points (1,3)
2. 4 Your Eyez Only (2016) - 66 Points (1,6)
3. Friday Night Lights (2010) - 59 Points (2,7)
4. KOD (2018) - 55 Points (2,6)
5. The Warm Up (2009) - 49 Points (1,7)
6. Born Sinner (2013) - 43 Points (2,7)
7. Cole World: The Sideline Story (2011) - 31 (4,7)
8. The Come Up (2008) - 11 (8,8)
THESE ARE NOT RATINGS OF ANY KIND, JUST AN ACCUMULATION OF POINTS
Not much of a surprise at the top or bottom but 3-6 were really competitive and could have landed anywhere. What did we get wrong?? What's too high or too low?? Let us know
