Day 13-THE CAPITOL BUILDING:
We are weaving on Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol thrilling adventure trail with Robert and Katherine. Fiction with code-breaking adventure in the halls and tunnels of the nation’s capital. Robert Langdon, the Harvard symbologist and Dan Brown's main character, finds a bloody invitation awaiting him in the center of the floor of the Rotunda. The clue was directly beneath the famous fresco, “The Apotheosis of Washington” which references the most famous of all masons George Washington. Brown also muses to a statue of Washington that used to reside in the Capitol Building where Washington is bare chested and pointing skyward. Langdon’s clue points to a hidden chamber in the “SBB,” or sub-sub basemen; While It doesn’t seem to exist as we toured around the building trying to find it.
LIBRARY OF CONGRESS: Of cos didnt find ourselves on the run and escape the Library of Congress by riding on conveyor belts that transport books among the library’s three buildings. We didn't get to visit the main reading room nor did we even get to see the conveyor belts.
All thanks for Dan Brown, that's why Washington had a chance to earn our money. Oldman Jonathan Loh and myself concluded that Washington is by far the worst country we ever visited in our entire lives.

Day 11- Seattle Thru my Samsung Note 8 lens.
From the controversial Fifty Shades of Grey to the successful hit drama series Grey’s Anatomy, the city’s breathtaking backdrop has been used as a setpiece for several movies and TV shows. Not forgetting the old bit hold American romantic comedy ; 10 things I Hate About You (1999) starring Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger was also a box office hit then and is still a hit with me today.
Sleepless in Seattle (1993) was one of the epic movies that I inexplicably fell in love with. The language in the movie was beautiful along with great cinematography capturing beautiful Seattle. Before I met my oldman Jonathan Loh, I often thought how exciting it would be for me to trek across a country on a wildly romantic impulse to meet my destiny just like Annie Reed (Meg Ryan) did in the movie. Two strangers who got closer and closer because of some uncanny magic guiding and decide the other one was the one. In reality, I wasn't transiting in New York back then, I didn't get a chance to get up to Empire State Building. I was slammed down from dreaming at the top of world to ground earth in just 43 sec, just like from Space Needle, 520 feet above Seattle, travelling at a rate of 10 mph.
Interestingly, for the past 18 years of my working life, I do often transit in Seattle but I never get to extend my journey to venture. Another bucket list checked. ✓
where I have always been wanting to experience this captivating cinematography of Seattle as seen in these movies myself.
