“Find joy in the journey.”
Vacation: sunshiney Saturday SoCal rides with my sig @tri.by.fire. Today was one of those days where getting outside took some extra motivation, but once we got going, it was so glorious! Thankful to have winter behind us and better training seasons ahead.
Not every step of this journey has been a cakewalk. Parts of the past few months have been HARD. We met an amazing couple tonight who shared a bit of their story with us. Turns out, they had been training for an Ironman when they got pregnant. Unexpected derailment of plans, but life happens. I was thankful for the perspective, inspired and touched by the candidness of their journey, and honestly, thankful that I’m not the only one who’s fought to keep training momentum going mid-pregnancy.
First time baby pushed back when I tucked into aero, which means that the countdown timer just kicked in on the outdoor riding; just in time for spring. 😩 In two weeks I went from not showing at all to feeling like an alien is poking out of my mid-section, lol. Just going to pretend that life is moving a million miles an hour and soak up these last few bits of vacay. ...

I almost gave up today 🤔😯
Yup. I finished 1 round of my final circuit and thought, “I can stop now. I’ve done enough. I’m done. I’m dying. Game over.”
But I laid there for a minute. On the ground. I caught my breath. I relaxed. And then I thought, “Wait a sec what am I doing? I’m not done. I have 2 more rounds.” I didn’t come this far just to give up and go home.
So I powered through it. And you know what? Taking that extra minute to rest and think really helped me.
And you know what ELSE? I feel pretty freakin proud of myself for finishing when I didn’t want to. 💪🏻 and I even got the butt sweat to prove it 😂
So the next time you’re ready to give up on yourself, sit there for an extra minute and think about it. Give your body the extra rest it needs and then FINISH WHAT YOU STARTED. Remember why you’re doing this in the first place.

6 years. I was Dans PT and qe started training together and eventually our relationship blossomed into what it is today 👬

Oto szybki trening mięśni brzucha z zastosowaniem gumy. Można ją przyczepić wszędzie nawet w domu. Zastosowanie dodatkowego oporu wzmocni pracę mięśni zwłaszcza w końcowej fazie skurczu.
Na filmie macie:
1. Sięganie dłonią do kolana po skosie w planku z gumą- za każdym razem powrót do podporu
2. Przejście z leżenia do siadu - z gumą za plecami na poziomie szyji
3. Spięcia brzucha z prostych nóg do zgiętych - guma na stopach
4. Brzuszki z gumą pod kolanami - opór na łydkach angażuje mięśnir dwugłowe i wyłącza biodrowo lędźwiowe - brzuch pali bardziej🔥
🇺🇸:Here is a quick workout of the abdominal muscles with the use of band. You can attach it everywhere, even at home. The use of additional resistance will strengthen muscle work, especially in the final stage of contraction.
On the movie you have:
1. Reaching up to the knee diagonally on the plank - each time you return to the plank position
2. Transition from lying down to sitting - with a rubber behind back at the neck level
3. Crunches from straight legs to bent - band on the feet
4. Crunches with band under the knees - resistance on the calves engages the muscles of hamstrings muscles and excludes the illio-lumbar muscles- the belly burns more🔥
