Sometimes life feels like a test that I never studied for. ...
Some of my absolute fave films growing up were The Little Mermaid, Aquamarine & Splash, so experiencing all this amazing snorkelling on our trip was like a dream👏🏻💘🧜🏻♀️🧜🏼♂️✨ ...
if the waves and endless sun and amazing humans weren’t enough... this lil pup is reason 82748 why I don’t want to leave Bali 🌊✨ it’s hard to practice non attachment ( #aparigraha ) in transitions. Aparigraha encourages us to be in the moment, take only what we need, and let go when it is time. as humans we so badly want to belong and connect... so often i struggle with transitions and change because i want to cherish this moment and whomever im with forever.
non attachment can be beautiful, bc it encourages us to live now... not in memories in the past or fantasies of the future. It teaches us that we cannot have people like we have things, but rather we connect with them on an equal ground, moment to moment. ✨
So as I leave I’m grateful for this place and these people. And I’ll only carry what they’ve taught me with me... and the hope and light that well be together again soon!
Ps. I still a little want this puppy 🙃
‼️TRAVEL TIP OF THE DAY IF YOU GO TO BALI‼️
Bring with you💲BIG BILLS to exchange for a higher currency! For instance, if you want to exchange $100 with $20 bills you'll get less money than if you exchange it with $100 bill. They want your $50 and $100 bills!
I didn't know about it, so I brought with me only small bills 🙈 and I got the lowest currency they offer😬
DON'T DO MY MISTAKE, SAVE MY POST, AND USE THIS TRAVEL TIP FOR YOUR NEXT TRIP TO BALI🤙
P.S. view from our second villa #sayanterrace we had in Bali:) ...
